The Rivet Typecase is a compartmentalized aluminium shelf with discrete sections designed to store and display your most precious objects. Based on a riveting technique suitable for creating right-angled joints between separate laser-cut raw aluminium sheets, the product is assembled by hand with a hammer in a cold-forming assembly process developed by designer Jonas Trampedach in 2011.
About the Rivet series
Based on a historically known hand-building technique, the Rivet series consists of laser-cut raw aluminium sheets, which are then joined by a hand-hammering technique.
