In the Cobra bread basket, Constantin Wortmann twists strands of stainless steel into an open, fluid bowl. It holds bread on the dining table or fruit on the kitchen counter, and keeps a sculptural presence when empty.
The basket is made from mirror-polished stainless steel and measures 24 cm across. It belongs to Georg Jensen’s Cobra collection, for which Wortmann works by the principle that form follows emotion.
